Matthew Seymour of Schuylerville, NY named SUNY Adirondack's Most Improved Bowler

The SUNY Adirondack bowling team placed 9th out of 18 teams in the NJCAA National Bowling Tournament March 1 and 2 at Thruway Lanes in Buffalo, NY.

Matthew Seymour, of Schuylerville, NY, fired a 2,102 series, had a 561 triple and a 204 high single. He was named the Timberwolves’ most-improved bowler of the season.

Travis Plansker of Johnsburg and Thomas Bonomo of Gansevoort won the gold medal in men’s doubles with a combined pinfall of 1,249, the Timberwolves’ first gold medal in men’s bowling in national competition.

The Timberwolves finished with a total pinfall of 12,203.
